What exactly is Instagram’s new repost feature?

Instagram’s new repost feature allows you to repost your friends’ stories in fullscreen mode.

When you repost a story, the repost icon appears in the upper right corner of the story.

The original poster’s username will be shown on the right side of the Repost symbol.

If you touch on the original poster’s username, you’ll be taken to their Instagram page.

To repost Instagram stories in fullscreen with the latest update, your buddy must first post the story and include you as a mention.

Then, open your DM, tap “Add to story,” tap the photo/video once to make it fullscreen, and then touch “Your story” to repost the narrative.

A direct message will be sent to the individual informing them that you mentioned them in your story.
Open the DM if you’re the person who wishes to repost the story.
To begin reposting the article, use the “Add to your story” button.
