Google Ads Introduces New Sales & Leads Conversion Reports
Google Ads has introduced a new feature in its advertiser console: separate Sales and Leads conversion reports. This feature, available under the Goals section in the Conversions Summary tab, enables advertisers to switch between “Sales” and “Leads” views to analyze conversion data based on their specific objectives.
Hana Kobzová, a digital marketing expert, brought this update to attention on X and covered it in detail on PPC News. She credited Giοrgos Touloumis for initially sharing screenshots of the new report setup, highlighting how these new reports make it easier for advertisers to differentiate between sales-driven and lead-driven conversions.
According to Hana, these separate views for Sales and Leads “allow advertisers to analyze conversions, whether they are lead- or sales-oriented,” providing more granular insights into campaign performance. By categorizing conversions, advertisers can now tailor their optimization strategies based on specific conversion types, making it easier to assess which campaigns are achieving targeted business goals.
This update is part of Google’s ongoing efforts to provide advertisers with more detailed performance insights, empowering them to make data-driven decisions and improve ROI.
